This scanner will grab checks and run them through but will return a message that reads: Scanner Error, Double Document Feed. Google says it's likely the little rubber roller sensors that have worn out, but I don't want to spend $40 on the kit on the off chance that it's not that. These things sell new on Amazon for $500. You could buy this for a fraction, buy the kit, replace the one little part, and make a killing reselling it. It's a gamble, but one that could pay off for you.
