This Alto Shaam Cook & Hold Smoker is in EXCEPTIONAL condition both cosmetically and functionally. It was purchased from a School and has been very lightly used and very well maintained. It has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced and tested and functions 100% with no issues whatsoever.
As with all pre-owned equipment there may be some minor cosmetic imperfections such as surface scratches minor dents or dings. Rest assured that if any exist, they are minor in nature, cosmetic only and in no way affect the performance.
Description
Accommodating three full-size pans in each compartment, the Alto-Shaam 1000-SK/I commercial smoker oven is a good size for establishments that regularly must produce a medium volume of smoked foods, such as meat, fish, cheese, and spices. Each compartment is operated independently via manual temperature control knobs and features a digital display that clearly indicates the current temperature settings. The built-in smoking timer can be set as long as 60 minutes and offers mild, medium, or heavy smoke flavor options.
The Alto-Shaam 1000-SK/I full-size commercial smoker oven is mounted on four 5-inch casters, enabling users to transport the unit without lifting or tilting it. Locking brakes on the two swiveling casters facilitate stability while the unit is in use. This smoker oven uses a low, controlled heat source that reduces the shrinkage and drying of costly meat cuts as they cook. Its stainless steel doors resist rust from exposure to salt and moisture, and they have magnetic latches to ensure firm closure.
