This desk is Model 131 and was designed by Børge Mogensen (1914-1972). He was trained as an architect and a cabinet maker. In 1950 he founded his own design studio. His work has been featured in one-man exhibitions in Zurich, London, New York City, Stockholm, Paris and Copenhagen, and his many awards for design include the Eckersberg Medaillen (1950) and the C.F. Hansen medal (1972).
It measures 39.5 x 23.5 x 28.75"H with a knee opening 19.50" wide by 24.50" high.
It is in excellent vintage condition. It has been oiled lightly to relieve it from the Colorado dryness.
