This 3 x 3 wood square decorative wall hanging is unmarked so we don’t know who made or with certainty when it was made. I would estimate it is probably from the 1980s.
It consists of 5 ¾ “ wooden squares arranged in a 3 x 3 pattern. The squares have beautiful grain and color and are carved with 3 x 3 squares, 4 lines and the center square with 3 concentric squares. They are mounted to a metal frame which has a wire for easy hanging. The entire piece measures 20 1/2 “ square by about 1 ½ inches deep.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition. The squares have the most minor amount of wear here and there. The metal frame is intact and the wire is securely attached to the frame. The wood was lightly oiled to relieve it from the Colorado dryness and gives the grain and color a good pop. It is ready for mounting.
This piece has a nice, mid-century style with a natural wood vibe.
We currently have two of these pieces available in the shop. They can be purchased individually at the listed price or they can be kept together as they have been their entire life. They are at the address in the listing. Delivery is available.
