A pair of cork lamps with a tapered, walnut accent neck and textured shade.
This is a pair of cork lamps in a shape referred to as an “onion bulb”. There is a tapered walnut accent piece on the neck. The shade is a textured drum shade that coordinates beautifully with the color of the cork. The socket is 3 way and everything works perfectly. The texture and color of the shade gives a nice, softened light. They are probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s.
This pair is in excellent vintage condition. The socket, cord and plug are original but in excellent condition. The shades are clean and probably original to the lamps.
The diameter of the cork base is about 7 inches. The total height with the shade is 22 ¾ “. The drum shade measures 12” by 8” diameter.
This is a very cool pair of mid-century lamps, made of cork and walnut, giving a great mid-century style.
They can be seen and purchased at the address in the listing. Delivery is available.
