This beautiful Antique Wedding Basket from the Philippines was purchased many years ago at an Asian antique gallery called Cashi Gallery in Denver that has long since closed. It is a solid, heavy piece with a removable lid and hollow inside. A beautiful addition to the right home. It was lovingly cared for and is now looking for a new home.

This is a good-sized piece… 17.5 square by 20.5” high. The wooden plinth base is slightly smaller than the top. I used it as a bedside night table and it went perfectly with my artwork and fabrics, but I changed my color scheme recently and the dark walnut finish no longer works. The piece is in near-perfect condition, especially for something this old. It could just as easily be used as a side table in a living room, or an accent piece most anywhere.

Selling for $275 cash.

I hate to let it go, but I no longer have a place for it, so it is looking for a new home where its owners would value its legacy and uniqueness (I've never seen another piece like it anywhere, but then I've never been to the Philippines!).
