Handmade dry vase, signed by artist Deb Stewart of Wild Sage Studio, Colorado.
8" high, 6" max diam, 2.5" opening
For display as is, or with a dry arrangement only.
A deep rose color with abstract swirls created by wax resist during the application of color. Variations in background color result from the firing process. The outer surface has a subtle, satiny sheen derived from buffing the dry clay in the pre-firing stage, and then the vase is waxed and buffed after firing. (see photo of label that came with it)
The interior is matte black.
It came with 4 non-slip pads on the base, but these could be easily removed.
Made in 2007 (signed "deb 07").
This was a gift, but I have nowhere suitable to put it. It has been sitting in its original packing for several years, never displayed, no condition issues. It is too pretty to sit in a box forever!
