The background is in rusts and orange. It looks like a landscape of water and a cloudy sky. What do you see?

Nicely framed in a wide 3 inch wood frame
Piece is 21 1/2 inches across and 25 1/2 inches tall
I see 2 white dots that may be the canvas showing or a bit of soil. There is also a line down near the bottom that may be intentional but not sure.
This item has not been cleaned and I only surface dusted
The frame is in good condition but I do see some places that would look better with a touch of stain.
