This piece looks like a photo until you're very close to it. People are astonished that it's not a photo. The image here in the frame doesn't do it justice. The unframed image is sharper.
I'm the only owner. I bought this piece from the New York gallery that represented him at the time. It's 14" by 33" framed. Dudley emailed me to say:
"It took seven weeks from start to finish, not working on anything else during that time. I worked on it during March and April, 2006."
