TITLE YoUNG YEMENTE BOY
Safria art gallery, LTD Jerusalem, Israel

Soloman Nogard portrays the various typos of Jews stressing their unique characteristics; Chas-sidim with their expressive eyes;
Moroccan girls dressed in their typical garb; emenito brides in their unique headgear; little Yes.. hiva boys with their sensitive faces; and the patriarchal faces of the Mea Shearim Rabbis. His use of unfinished linen and bone for the surface on which he paints enhances the singularity of the por-traits.
