I can fix them when other mechanics cannot. I specialize in diagnosing and repairing the hard-to-fix problems. The key is to do the research before twisting the wrenches.
Most mechanics will change part after part until they find a solution (and you have to pay for these parts). Maybe it is plugs and wires, maybe it is a new coil, maybe this, maybe that. Each of those maybes will cost you time and money to test. The key is to be smart and do a proper diagnosis. Most mechanics do not know how to do this - sorry to say but even ASE certified mechanics (I am not one).
If I have to test a theory with a new part and it does not pan out, your part goes back on the vehicle and I eat the cost of the new part as well as the cost of the labor to swap out the parts. That's only fair.
If you are frustrated with your car and can't figure it out, call me and I will fix it.
I have been working on cars and trucks since I was 10 years old and I am now 56 - so a LOT of experience for your hard-earned dollar. You pay me for the years of experience, not for my ability to turn a wrench.
