The Tax Shop, an established and independent tax preparation firm in Lone Tree, Colorado, is seeking seasoned, experienced tax preparers to join our team for the upcoming tax season and beyond.
This opportunity is not entry-level. We are specifically looking for professionals who can work independently with minimal supervision and bring real-world tax preparation experience. We are particularly interested in candidates who:
Have multiple seasons of hands-on tax preparation experience
May currently operate (or have operated) their own tax practice and are open to working within a professional, collaborative office environment
Have worked with reputable firms such as H&R Block, Liberty Tax, or similar organizations
Location Requirement (Important). This is an on-site position at our Lone Tree office. Applicants should live within approximately 20 minutes of the office to ensure availability and reliability during tax season.
Tax Preparation Essentials
* Strong, working knowledge of the tax code and familiarity with IRS procedures
* Confidence in meeting directly with clients and handling returns from start to finish
* Experience with professional tax preparation software (ATX preferred)
* High ethical standards, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy
