Role and Responsibilities
• Own day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks Online
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Perform monthly closes, reconciliations, and prepare monthly financial statement
• Maintain accurate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) tracking
• Oversee inventory accounting, adjustments, and valuation
• Partner with operations to ensure yields, shrink, and costs are captured correctly
• Develop and document accounting processes, controls, and workflows
• Prepare financial reports that clearly communicate performance to leadership
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Coordinate with external accountants and advisors as needed
• This is a newly created role, and the successful candidate will help design and build the position from the ground up.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
• 3–7 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations
• Experience in inventory-based, manufacturing, agriculture, or distribution businesses preferred
• Solid understanding of GAAP fundamentals
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently

• Yield analysis and operational variance tracking
• Product and operational costing
• Profit planning and margin analysis
• Inventory management and reconciliation experience
• Process-building and documentation skills
• Food Service or Restaurant Accounting experience

• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial leaders
