<description><![CDATA[The Center for Independent Media (CIM) seeks two reporter/bloggers to cover Colorado politics at the state, county and local levels.  At least one of the positions will be based in Denver. The reporters will be part of a statewide team that executes daily investigative reporting and blogging for CIM’s news site ColoradoIndependent.com.<br>
<br>
Successful candidates will each be responsible for at least 2 long-form articles and 15 blog posts per week.<br>
<br>
We’re looking for reporters who can combine the best of traditional journalism with the new paradigms of the Internet and can use blogging to develop the narratives of longer-form reporting. A key criterion in measuring success will be the delivery of “impact stories” that inspire public debate and advance the common good. <br>

Requirements<br>
-At least three years of relevant reporting experience; <br>
-Clear understanding of policy, legislation and the workings of state politics; <br>

Applicants should be prepared to be busy, with a schedule that may include evenings and Saturdays. This full-time salaried position will pay $40-50K to the right candidate with proven experience. <br>

Key responsibilities: <br>
• Email and phone support and managerial communications with channel applicants and Arts & Entertainment Examiners <br>
• Online recruitment of new Examiners through arts and entertainment communities and other social networking outlets <br>

Responsibilities:<br>

Primary Responsibilities:<br>
•	Proactively liaise with software development, QA and Product teams to produce technical documents that are used by internal and external audiences<br>

Job Description<br>

An HOL Document Management, Editor, & Database Specialist plays a major supporting role in ensuring the quality of science learning experiences for college and high school students using LabPaqs. The primary responsibilities revolve around updating and maintaining HOL’s extensive science experiment document library which meets traditional academic learning objectives.<br>

This position actively interacts with the sales and production teams and reports directly to the VP of Operations. The salary range is $32-$39K, depending upon experience. Duties:<br>
• Maintains and updates the science experiment library, including experiment documents, student Lab Manuals, Instructor Answer Keys, Student Report Templates, Test Bank of Questions, etc.<br>
• Edits textual content for new experiments including compelling and relevant background information and precise instructions in accordance with LabPaq standardized formats<br>
• Edit science articles for professional and commercial publications <br>
