A multidisciplinary organization, ISPCAN members in nearly 180 countries work in areas of medicine, mental health, law, law enforcement, social services, education, sociology/research, advocacy, NGO leadership, and government. ISPCAN seeks to promote the protection of every child, in every country, against all forms of cruelty and exploitation.  <br>

Job Description:  A full-time position reporting to the Executive Director, the Web/Publications/IT Manager is responsible for the programming, design, management and maintenance of ISPCAN’s website. The Web/Publications/IT Manager is also charged with the graphic design and implementation of all ISPCAN publications, including: annual report; conference flyers and brochures; membership brochure; tri-annual newsletter; World Perspectives biennial report; special reports, and other promotional material as needed. Critical to this position are the ability to troubleshoot and resolve all IT issues; maintain the server and LAN infrastructure including system backup; and recommend and install needed hardware, software and computer peripheral upgrades.         <br>

Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in web development and/or computer-science related field with at least 3 years post-degree hands-on experience. As ISPCAN is an international organization with officers, members and strategic partners in multiple geographic locations and time zones, specific expertise in positioning ISPCAN toward web-based IT solutions is imperative. Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification highly desirable. Superb visual design skills and creativity. High proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite 4 including In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, and Flash. Experience with scripting for database-driven sites and a solid working knowledge of HTML, XML, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A  considerable comfort level with hardware component diagnosis and repair is vital. The candidate must have the following essential characteristics: highly organized and results-oriented with a dedicated focus on deadlines and deliverables; attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to effectively multi-task; initiative; flexible and positive attitude; professional demeanor; integrity and high ethical standards; and interpersonal dexterity. IT:  Must have advanced skills in Microsoft systems, Database online programs (FileMaker Pro and Survey Monkey) and computer software; some knowledge of SPSS, SAS and other statistical programs, and familiarity with Audience Response Systems (ARS).   The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating computer systems for approximately 12 users with both MAC and PC.<br>
Web:  Must be able to creatively design databases and to create reporting mechanisms for existing databases.
