Intercambio de Comunidades Denver is a non-profit organization that offers English as a Second Language classes to adult students in Denver. The mission is to build respectful communities and broaden opportunities for immigrants through language education, cultural exchange, and friendship.
We are currently looking for new volunteers to teach individual students in their homes. The times of these classes are flexible, as we have students with various schedules. We will match you with a student of your choice or with a student from the waiting list based on your availability, level preference, where you live, and any other requests.
It is not necessary to speak Spanish, or to have prior teaching experience. We are looking for enthusiastic, patient people who are able to commit for a minimum of three months. We provide training, in-service workshops, curriculum materials, and on-going support.
Intercambio de Comunidades Denver is under a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.
