Arts Festival Volunteers Needed

WHAT: The Downtown Denver Arts Festival showcases more than 100 Colorado artists and will take place May 23 – 26, 2008 at the Denver Pavilions (www.downtowndenverartsfestival.org). Think 360 Arts is the official festival nonprofit partner, meaning proceeds from beverage sales and gratuities will help support our mission of ensuring arts education for every Colorado child. We need your help to staff the event! Here are all the details. Please contact us by email if you have questions and let us know your availability (days, morning/afternoon).
WHEN: Volunteers must be available for a minimum of one 4 hour shift. Following are hours that we will need volunteers:
Friday, May 23 :: 6 – 10am, 4pm – 8pm
Monday, May 26 :: 11am – 3pm, 3pm – 7pm
WHO: We need volunteers for the following tasks: beverage booths (must be 21+), assisting artists and booth sitting, check in and information tables, roaming and traffic flow, set up and tear down. Volunteers will be assigned to tasks based on need. No heavy lifting!
PERKS: Volunteers can park for free in the Pavilions garage and will receive a festival t-shirt and meal voucher and a free Eldorado Springs product for every day of service. Plus, be a part of creating a wonderful festival experience for the community and interact with artists from all over Colorado.
