WANTED: People with a good heart, who want to make a difference in the world, to start a new Fundraising Society dedicated to raising funds to help needy and deserving individuals, families and small organizations in the Denver Metro Area.
My name is Rebecca and I am trying to start this fundraising society to help a broad range of people because there are too many good causes out there to just choose one. I love to fundraise, plan fundraising events and then give everything to a good cause. There is no better feeling in the world then to help another person in need.
This Society/Club/organization would meet once a month and share stories of good deeds they have done or good deed stories they have heard. Every member would be welcome to introduce a cause they believe we should raise funds for; whether it be a poor family in need, an injured soldier, a struggling small organization, a children’s club in need, a run-down public school, a terminally ill person with no health insurance, or whatever else is in need of some charity. As a group we would vote on which causes we choose to give our time and efforts too. We would require everyone pay a ten dollar monthly due to put towards administration costs that way 100% of the funds raised can go towards the cause. If this works we will apply for 501(c)(3) status to further our ability to raise funds. In our first meeting we will talk about bylaws, Articles of Association, a Society name and roles/officers of the group members.

someone who buys gifts on an ornament from the giving tree in front of Walmart every Christmas
a faithful person who doesn’t know why God gave you so much more then everyone else
a student who needs experience planning events, or raising funds,
a professional who wants to use their skills for a good cause

Just a person who wants to make a difference in the lives of others who need it
