HP Anounces No Warranty On Pavilion Lap Top (HP Exec Daniel Bulnes Tells Customer)

HP Warranty Update

MY Hp Pavilion laptop burned my leg when it over heated. When hot, the screen went dead, the keyboard was non responsive and the machine had a burning smell to it�

HP Loss Prevention specialist Daniel Bulnes asked me to send the unit in. After HP exec Bulnes was through with e I regretted not buying sony, toshiba, fujitsu, Dell or even an Acer! Read on!

After HP got the computer, I received the news! It was going to be $360 to fix the computer!

Wow! I am glad it was under warranty�.

So I went to battle with the computer giant. Who do you think won? If you want to know whether to buy an HP Pavilion, read on!

I escalated the case to a higher athority after HP exec Bulnes gave me the cold shoulder. He sent me to HP exec Tim Metcalf who seemed confused why I was talking to him.

According to Metcalf, HP Pavilion laptops are not supposed to be put into your lap. HP laptops are not really lap tops�they are note books! You should expect to get burned when your body comes into contact with a lap top�I mean notebook!

Then I found out HP was demanding $360 bucks before they had tested the uit. I guess that is standard proceedure. . Loss prevention expert Bulnes was doing his job! Not only was he preventing losses, he was making HP a whopping $360!

After discovering the fraud, Bulnes said they were sending the computer to their Houston testing center for priority treatment. I had a hunch what that was going to be like�

Three weeks later I had not heard a peep out of Loss Prevention. By now I had emailed HP CEO Mark Hurd and had a response�Loss prevention rules! The corporate expet had no solution for me.

Bulnes finally returned my phone calls. He was terse:

�We are sending your note book back unfixed� he told me. That ended the conversation. I had the hot lizzy in my hands two days later, sure enough unfixed. The keys still stick and I am sure the screen will go dead soon...

HP had my Pavilion notebook for two months. At the end of the day I have a $1,400 piece of loss prevention on my hands�and a lesson learned about how a coroporate giant treats it�s customers! What ever you do don�t end up in Loss Prevention with HP for a Pavilion notebook�or is it lap top. The decision for me was made before I sent the machine in.

I have had wonderful luck with my Toshiba, my Sony, and my fujitsu. Daniel Bulnes says his actions if not with his words, �HP does not honor warranties on the HP Pavilion Laptop.�

HP CEO Mark Hurd�s promise to put the customer first falls flat on it�s face when you end up in loss prevention! Black Friday is coming and HP is a big advertiser this year. They have to be�They have so many irate customers from their over heating power packs on their Pavillion note books the only way to sell the notebook or Pavilion laptop is to find new suckers�At least I won�t have to stand in line�

I called a roofing company for an estimate. He came out, looked at the roof and came back with a piece of paper for me to sign saying they could do the job for what the insurnace company was willing to pay. What I didn't realize was that I was signing a contract for them to do the job. Now if I brake the contract I will have to pay them 15% of the total cost of the job.

For background--I met Ricky while he was filming the Excel Sports team at the Glenwood Springs Omnium. He is making a cycling documentary called "Worst to First" which will show his progress from a couch potato to a lean, mean racing machine. Last year he rented a bike and raced the Lookout Mountain hillclimb. He came in last. Now he's training to win that race. His goal is to ride the mountain in 20 minutes. The documentary will inspire others to improve themselves. They'll see what's possible when a person makes a commitment, gains help and support from others, learns, takes action, and gives back. That's a recipe for success we can all apply!

We have Simeone, Ramos, Grove, Cook representing our best interest now for another 3 years? Thank goodness that YRC is going under soon and we can say goodbye to these morons for good!! Why do I say morons? I could say allot worse but why sink to their level??!! Several Brothers of Local 17 which have to be represented by these sell out agents are in the midst of filing for a change of representation. Seems allot of grievances and issues are being slid under the carpet and forgiven by the Union at our expense...THE WORKERS WHO PAY THEIR WAGES!!! MEDICAID FRAUD IS UP TO SIXTY BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR.
The first group of thieves are foreigners who set up phony medical supply shops. They buy your name,social etc. for $10 per list and then bill medicaid and medicare for millions. Every 30 days they close up shop and open somewhere else. I wrote this true story approx. one week before 60 minutes did a story on it. (10/25/09) 60 minutes focused on the phony med supply shops, my focus is on the crooked doctors. No surprise to me, they all have foreign names. Hey come to america the land of dumb lazy assess and plenty of free money.

Apparently ceo's, bankers, real estate brokers, and politicians aren't the only ones stealing your tax dollars. Let's take a look at how doctors are in on the greed game.
I'm sixty years old now so I've had a chance to see how the world is going sour real fast. When I was a child doctors were ethical and actually cared about their patients. Hell they even used to make house calls. I come from a family of doctors so I learned a lot about how they're supposed to conduct business.
Doctors are supposed to follow a code of ethics known as "The Hippocratic oath" That has disappeared. I know from first hand experience. You see I've been sick since fifth grade, and as I said I'm now sixty. I inherited the same stomach that killed three men in my family. I have miraculously survived dozens of horrific accidents that should have killed me. In one case the people around me died but I lived. If you saw my history of accidents and illnesses you would find it impossible that I would still be alive. Many say that I have a guardian angel and that death has followed me throughout my life. Evil Kanevil was a pussy compared to me. Enough of that let's get to the story behind the title.
To help you understand that I know what I'm talking about I will tell you that I've had over 100 x-rays, 6-10 cat scans and had over 80 hospital visits in my lifetime. My research and problem solving abilities extend far beyond tracking and catching the burglars who robbed my son and I and seven other homeowners. I see things differently than most as I have A.D.H.D. and O.C.D
Doctors are robbing you of your tax dollars as follows, I will name names, clinics and more.
My three major health issues have not improved at all because doctors are more concerned with being able to bill medicaid numerous times than they are concerned about correcting health issues. I've seen this on both the east coast and the midwest. Let's talk about Colorado.
The Lakewood medical center, Lakewood Colorado, whose head doctor and owner is dr. hai bui, ( i will not use capital letters in dr's names) he conducted business as follows: He had me at his office approximately 1-2 times per week for 4-6 months. Every time I went to his office the waiting room would be jammed full of patients. No matter what time you arrived or were scheduled for, you would always be forced to wait a minimum of one hour just to be seen.
Dr. buis is vietcong, sorry vietnamese. He would always see his own people (vietnamese before the American patients. Actually he like most doctors rarely see the patients, they have nurse practitioners see the patients. This is so they can shuttle through as many patients as possible and in turn bill medicaid approximately 80-100 times per day. I call this practice patient mills.
dr. buis's office would even force me to make an appointment with his office, just to get a referral to another doctor or specialist. My definition of referral is sharing the taxpayer wealth among the colleagues and associates. They bounce patients back and forth amongst each other so they can multiple bill medicaid. The patients health issues are never resolved due to all the patient bouncing.
You'll love this one. dr. buis and many other doctors become members in as many medical societies as they can. The yearly dues they pay are what I call hush and protection money.
I had received a questionnaire from medicaid as to the performance of a staff member who renewed my medicaid. I gave them all tens across the board because they deserved them. At the bottom of the page was a small comment section, here's what I wrote.
My health has been extremely poor so I very much appreciate the financial help in trying to get better. My only complaint is with my primary care physician. His offices only concern seems to be with large numbers of patients he can shuttle in and out so he can bill medicaid in large numbers. He has six secretaries who spend most of their time with personal talk while keeping patients on hold on the phone. Secretaries don't pass on messages, they loose my diagnosis reports, they lie and say that they faxed info when they did not, they make me come to office to pick up referrals so they can bill medicaid for a visit rather than faxing referrals, they collect co-pays for follow-ups, each visit they make me wait at least one hour, many more complaints.
I was so upset and now feeling medically worse that I called the medical societies that dr. buis was a member of and simply requested complaint forms. Keep in mind I had not yet filled them out or mailed them.
It became clear that the medical societies warned doctor buis when I called his office to find out why his office failed for the tenth time to fill out one stinking lousy form and fax it.The secretary said we were told not to talk with you because you called the board of health. FACT: I never called the board of health but I did call a particular agency with the word board in it's agency title. I never stated any specifics to this board, I just requested a complaint form. It seems highly unethical that this agency called dr. buis's office and warned them that they mailed a form to me.
I equate this with being a paid member of the better business bureau and then receiving special protection and consideration just for paying yearly dues. The better business bureau is supposed to protect the public from unscrupulous businesses.
My medical history contains volumes of facts in the form of x-rays, cat scans and more, which very clearly show my condition. And yet, these crappy greedy doctors want me to continue going through more and more overdosing of radiation and needless tests so they can bill medicaid. THIS SHOULD REALLY PISS YOU OFF AS A TAXPAYER.
As I said I've already received more radiation than a nuke plant. At least every two weeks world news does a story on needless and excessive radiation from x-rays and ct scans. My middle name should be green. I recall two different hospitals I went to for food poisoning in two incidents which were twenty years apart from each other. Both insisted on dosing me with radiation by x-ray and ct scan against my wishes. I was 100 % certain I had food poisoning, radiation is not a treatment for that.
Over a one month period two doctors insisted on taking blood from me a total of six times for no good reason other than making it possible for their path labs to bill medicaid. Nothing ever showed up in the blood works as I knew it wouldn't.
You'll love this one. I'm proud to say that I know my body better than any doctor on the planet so I have a pretty good idea what I need to help it. It took quite a while to convince a doctor to write a script for what I knew I needed, but he finally did. When I returned for a follow up he had the nerve to take credit for my wellness to his nurse practitioner. It was embarrassing to watch him swell up his chest, raise his nose up and take credit for my remedy which conflicted with his. LISTEN TO WHAT YOUR BODY AND MIND ARE TELLING YOU, YOU'RE PROBABLY RIGHT.
FACT: HOSPITALS KILL 100,000 EVERY YEAR WITH HOSPITAL MISTAKES.
FACT HOSPITALS KILL 150,000 EVERY YEAR WITH HOSPITAL CAUSED INFECTIONS.
FACT: WHEN DOCTORS GO ON STRIKE FEWER PEOPLE DIE.
FACT: THE MAJORITY OF SURGERIES AND PROCEDURES ARE UNNECESSARY, THEY ARE HOWEVER BILLABLE.
FACT: MEDICAL SOCIETIES ARE PAID INFORMANTS.
When a doctor did my first sinus surgery back east, he said his procedure was a state of the art procedure that would get rid of my polyps. It did, but they returned a short while later. I arrived in Colorado three years ago and I've had a horrific sinus infection now for three years which has eroded major parts of my sinus cavity. The local news informed me that the Denver area has the highest rate of sinus infections of anywhere in the U.S. Personally I think that the high winds here stir up something in the soil or plant life that causes sinus infections.
A doctor in Aurora and his nurse practitioner have relentlessly tried to convince me to undergo a new sinus surgery. They claim that it's nothing like the one I had, they remove the polyps with a laser. I don't care what procedure you use to remove sinus polyps. Given your particular body and the environment they will return.
The paperwork the sinus surgeon gave me covered their asses for everything that could go wrong. It even said the polyps could return, I could loose my sense of taste, (which by the way is all I have left that I enjoy) I could loose excessive brain fluid- that sounds pleasant, I'm thinking it would drain into my mouth and that can't taste very good. Try to get that picture out of your head. I know I would never make brain fluid an aquired taste. If it doesn't look good raw I'm sure I won't eat it cooked.
In all my years of home improvement I always guaranteeded my work and never once got called back to fix my work. Maybe they call it the practice of medicine because they're still practicing. I perfected my craft many years ago.
I recently made an appointment with the wheatridge family clinic 6301 w. 38th ave. wheatridge. I saw a nurse practitionerer, as usual the dr. a dr. maurice archuleta was unavailable. He did however have a large framed excuse for his unavailability posted on the wall.
Keep in mind I informed dr. archuleta's office prior to the visit, the reason for the appointment, and that I had a complete set of cat scan reports that I would bring with me. My reports clearly and conclusively show my medical problem. My reports are just as clear as a death certificate for a dead person. You can't fake death, your either dead or you're not.
BIG SURPRISE: dr. archuleta's office pulled the same fast one that dr. buis office pulled. They gave me a referral to a doctor that was unavailable until late spring the following year.
At dr. archuleta's office I also noticed an extreme amount of sexual bias against men. There were a large number of women patients who arrived after myself and an old man. Every one of the women went first, and we were left for last. This is no accident I see it regularly.
I was at lutheran hospital in the emergency room once. I noticed that an old man was having a lot of trouble helping a very sick person out of a car. The hospital staff who had line-of-sight view, were so busy shooting the shit with each other that the sick person fell and could not get up. The old man was screaming for help which went un-noticed. I had to bring it to the attention of staff members.
FACT: Most employees have this dumb ass comradory for their employer, it's everywhere, including state and fed employees. What these employees are to stupid to be able to see is that the employer doesn't give a shit about them or the patient/customer. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In closing I must say that I will never go to a doctor or hospital again. I completely distrust doctors and hospitals.I've been sick my whole life, but at least I'm alive. There's an old saying, "If the illness doesn't kill you the hospital will."

I'm assuming by your post that you did not purchase a warranty. If that IS the case, than you almost certainly have a piece of paper with the words AS IS across the top with your signature on the back of it. Preexisting flaws with the vehicle or not, it was your responsibility to have the vehicle checked out; not the salesmans or the lot kids'. They owe you nothing if what I think is true.

Father of boy in balloon saga meets with officers (Denver)

A storm-chasing inventor met with sheriff's officials Saturday amid lingering questions about whether he perpetrated a big hoax when his 6-year-old son vanished into the rafters of his garage while the world thought he was zooming through the sky in a flying saucer-like helium balloon. The saga grew stranger by the day. Richard Heene knocked on the windows of journalists camped outside his home early Saturday and promised a "big announcement" in a few hours, then did an about-face when he told reporters that they should leave questions in a cardboard box on the front doorstep. "Absolutely no hoax. I want your questions in the box," Heene said, waving a cardboard container before going back into his home. A circus-like atmosphere formed outside, including men holding signs and occasionally yelling "balloon boy." One sign read, "Put balloon boy on TV: America's Most Wanted." Other gawkers carried aluminum-foil stovetop popcorn makers that resembled the silvery balloon launched from the family's backyard Thursday, with 6-year-old Falcon Heene believed to be onboard. A man pulled a red wagon with coffee for sale. The sign had "$2" scratched out with a new price of $1. Some neighbors stopped by to drop questions of their own into the box. Falcon's mother, Mayumi Heene, also went to the sheriff's office about two hours after husband did. The couple's three sons remained home, apparently being watched by sheriff's officials. Authorities wouldn't comment on what was happening. "We're trying to figure things out. That's all I can say," sheriff's spokeswoman Eloise Campanella said. Sheriff Jim Alderden has said that he wanted to re-interview the family after Falcon told CNN that "you said we did this for a show" when asked why he didn't come out of his hiding place. Then Falcon got sick during two separate TV interviews when asked why he hid. The balloon was supposed to be tethered to the ground when it lifted off, and no one was supposed to be aboard. A video of the launch shows the family counting down in unison, "3, 2, 1," before Richard Heene pulls a cord, setting the balloon into the air. "Whoa!" one of the boys exclaims. Then his father says in disbelief, "Oh, my God!" He then says to someone, "You didn't put the (expletive) tether down!" and he kicks the wood frame that had held the balloon. Falcon's brother said he saw him inside the compartment before it took off and that's why they thought he was in there when it launched. Heene said he had yelled at Falcon before the launch for getting inside. Alderden thinks it's likely that Falcon ran off because he was scared of getting in trouble, later falling asleep in his hiding spot. He said he doubted that such a hyperactive boy could be ordered to stay quiet for the five hours he was missing. Over the years, Richard Heene has worked as a storm chaser, a handyman and contractor, and an aspiring reality-TV star. He and his family appeared on the ABC reality show "Wife Swap," and the show's producer said it had a show in development with the Heenes but the deal is now off. TLC also said Heene had pitched a reality show to the network months ago, but it passed on the offer. Despite his attempts to get on TV, Heene insisted Saturday that he didn't know what kinds of questions were being asked about him because he didn't have cable. "I'm going to place the box out front. Please write your questions down, because friends are telling me they're saying this and that. I have no idea what the news is saying," Heene said.
No sign of boy said to have floated off on balloon

A homemade balloon aircraft floated away from a yard in Colorado after a 6-year-old boy was seen climbing inside, setting off a frantic scramble by the military and law enforcement before the balloon slowly touched without the boy inside.

It's not clear whether the boy fell out of the balloon or was never actually inside the craft. Sheriff's officials said from the beginning that he was in the balloon, and authorities feverishly searched for any sign of the child on the ground, including in the neighborhood where he lives.

The bizarre scene played out live on television as the balloon rotated slowly in the wind, tipping precariously at times before gliding to the ground after more than two hours in the air.

Cathy Davis of the Larimer County Sheriff's Department told reporters the balloon was owned by the boy's parents, Richard and Mayumi Heene, and tethered behind the family's home. She said two sons were playing outside when the older boy saw the younger one, identified as Falcon, go into a compartment at the bottom of the balloon and fly away.

"We'll just have to respond the best we can," Davis said. "This is a first and we'll do what we need to do."

She said the family was in contact with experts to provide details on the craft, including what it's made of and what might happen when it reached the ground. In a 2007 interview with The Denver Post, Richard Heene described becoming a storm chaser after a tornado ripped off a roof where he was working as a contractor and said he once flew a place around Hurricane Wilma's perimeter in 2005.

Pursuing bad weather was a family activity with the children coming along as the father sought evidence to prove his theory that rotating storms create their own magnetic fields.

Although Richard said he has no specialized training, they had a computer tracking system in their car and a special motorcycle.

The Colorado Army National Guard sent an OH-58 Kiowa helicopter and was preparing to send a Black Hawk UH-60 to try to rescue the boy, possibly by lowering someone to the balloon. They also were working with pilots of ultralight aircraft on the possibility of putting weights on the homemade craft to weigh it down.

But the balloon landed on its own in a dirt field. Sheriff's deputies secured it to keep it in place, even tossing shovelfuls of dirt on one edge.

Northbound departures at Denver International Airport were shut down as a precaution to prevent against a possible collision between the balloon and an airliner, said Lyle Burrington, an air traffic controller at the Federal Aviation Administration's radar center in Longmont, Colo.

Air traffic controllers warned planes in the area about the balloon, Burrington said. It helped that the day was clear, enabling pilots to see the balloon well, he said.

Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Laura Brown said the agency tracked the balloon through reports from pilots.

"We were sitting eating, out looking where they normally shoot off hot air balloons. My husband said he saw something. It went over our rooftop. Then we saw the big round balloonish thing, it was spinning," said neighbor Lisa Eklund.

"By the time I saw it, it traveled pretty fast," she said.

The story gripped the television news networks, which set aside other programming to follow the balloon and speculate on the safety of the boy.

"It's got everybody freaked out," said Fox News Channel's Shepard Smith, "and why wouldn't it?"

KEZW Radio Misleading Listeners (Studio 1430, KEZW)

For weeks after the Auto Answerman Radio Show left KEZW, the radio station has continued to mention the Auto Answerman on its website. The owner of the Auto Answerman show first asked that the station remove all references to his show. When that didn't work, he demanded that KEZW management remove all references to The Auto Answerman. For some reason, the radio station has refused to comply with the reasonable request. Just last week (10/10), the image at the bottom of this page appeared on the http://KEZW.com website during the Auto Answerman's former time slot.

KEZW has also not removed the Auto Answerman page from their website (http://www.studio1430.com/pages/2977716.php). If not for the multiple direct removal requests, I would think that the issues noted here could be the result of inefficiency or incompetence at KEZW. In light of the multiple direct removal requests, it certainly appears that KEZW may be trying to intentionally mislead their listeners into believing that they still have the Auto Answerman Show as a part of their weekend lineup; they don't. Since KEZW management has refused to comply with the requests made directly to them, perhaps they'll finally remove all references to the Auto Answerman Show after reading this online message.

For the record, the Auto Answerman Radio Show can now be heard each Saturday morning (9 - 10am) on KEPN Radio, ESPN Radio 1600 AM.

New Name - Same Horrible Radio Show (Studio 1430, KEZW)

First they called it "Car Talk with Randy." Then, for some reason, KEZW Radio changed the name of their Saturday auto show to "Mr. Auto Show." The problem with that was that they didn't own the name. They continued to use "Mr. Auto Show," which belongs to someone else, for several weeks. Now, they're just calling it "Randy's Auto Show." How creative. It's the same lame program with a stupid new name. (Man, I'd love to have the business card concession for that show!)

When I did a Google Search for Randy Hancock, the host of the show, I found some interesting and humerous stuff. For instance:

True story on E-470:
In May I came to Denver for a wedding. I rented from EZ- Rent A Car.

Upon leaving, I didn't have the right change at the toll booth. I had no choice but to drive on, turn in my car and catch my flight back home. I asked the front desk when I turned in my car what I should do about the toll. They said the company would send me a notice.

It has been months. My memory of the details are pretty fuzzy - but the details do not matter at all.

Get a violation and EZ-Rent A Car charges a non refundable $50 dollar "Administration Fee".

It's in the fine print - there is nothing to be done about it. (You only get as much justice as you can afford in this country.)

Legalized extortion or not - $50 is exorbitant and a huge cash cow for them - - an irritation for us.

I will not be renting from them again out of spite. I don't think you all should either. But that is your choice.

Since they waited ALL these months since the middle of May 2009 before stamping an envelope and notifying me - nor give me any recourse - I figure they deserve this bit of reverse word-of-mouth advertising.

I am very saddened that I bought a lemon at Murray Motors.
I thought reputation preceded quality and trust, I was mistaken. I bought a Land Rover with 2 dangerous defect issues from Murray Motors and I am stuck with $21,000 spent - only to learn that my car additionally needs a new engine on top of the lost $8,000 in repairs. It needed the new engine on the day I bought the car at their dealership. The engine problem has been a known & documented defect since 3-14-1003. They are a dealership full of pride..... but I have not seen any satisfactory follow through and I am a deeply disappointed customer. I am still waiting for some proof of their integrity.
