I am skiing in Vail the week of January 17th, and figured that I have time for a photoshoot in Vail -or perhaps in the near vacinity.

I am a Midwest model (living in Chicago) and am signed with a reputable agency. I am looking to maybe shoot on location (a couple outside snow shots depending on weather), in our condo, and am open to any other creative ideas.

My name is Tom Kamsickas and I am in charge of comedy night at Buckin Harleys located close to US36 and Pecos.

I am someone who is also looking for a place to work on his act to and seeing that it is difficult to know where to go to perform besides waiting on the list for Comedy Works I moved forward and decided to start a new show to give more opportunities not only to myself but to other comics who are also working on their craft.

Buckin' Harleys opened up about 3 months ago and is a bar and grill with a country / Harley Davidson theme. On Sunday and Wednesday nights they have karaoke and on the weekends they have live music. And now on Monday nights they will have an amateur comedy night.

So with the venue, even though it is a "country bar" you don't have to tell redneck jokes or cowboy jokes; bring your material. The only thing I ask is that swearing is held to a minimum. It is an adult show but decorum will be there. It will also be a no heckling show.

Opening night for the comedy night is going to be the first Monday night in February (Feb 1, 2010). From that point it will be a weekly show on Monday nights with a curtain time of 8pm and a call time for the comics at 7:30pm.

I am looking for right now comics to do a 3, 4, or 5 minute acts. Eventually my idea is with the comics who do perform there and do a good job with it to give opportunities for being an MC or "headlining".

I also have other people helping me that if this goes over well at Buckin' Harleys that we will help promote this are other venues, which in turn my open up even more chances for comics to perform their craft.

For those that are interested for the first show I will first be having them email me back with their interest and right now it is first come first serve. Those that do get on the list will be guaranteed a 3 min. slot. For those wanting a 4 min or a 5 min slot for the first couple of shows will have to audition for it on Saturday January 16, 2010 from between 11 am to 2pm, Saturday January 23, 2010 from between 11 am to 2pm or Saturday January 30, 2010 from between 11am to 2pm. If those time frames are not good then comics can email me back to schedule an audition. 4 and 5 min acts must audition to get those spots. For the audition though it needs to be at least 2 min no longer than 3 min. Acts will know by January 31 (for February 1st) if they are 4-5 min act. Then with the more times you perform at Buckin' Harleys, the better the chances of getting a 4-5 min slot.

There will be a stand by sign in list for all shows.
Those that get on the main list for a show and are not there by 7:30pm you will be replaced by someone on the stand by list. Acts chosen from the stand by list will be done by a lottery system and will be doing a 3 min set (this may be revised further down the road).
