1. Camera person: We already have our own pro-quality Sony HD camera and need an experienced camera person to shoot footage of our on location segments hosted by two actors.

2. Soundman/Lights: Work in coordination with Cameraman to set up lights and sound for on location shoots over two days period. We have an HD Camera but some sound and lighting equipment needed.

3. Editor: Experienced at FinalCutPro to edit and upload HD digital footage to the website. We will collect lots of footage that will need to be edited into small 5 - 10 minute segments for upload to the website. Please have your own software.

Perfect suburban living is uprooted when someone "different" moves in and must fight to be accepted.

We are holding auditions for a short film called Suburbia the Musical. This is a student film at Colorado Film School, however we are shooting on two Red One cameras, so this is much more than a "typical" student film.
Auditions will be held at the Colorado Film School: 9075 E Lowry Blvd Denver, CO 80230.
Dates are Monday and Tuesday October 26th and 27th from 5-9:30 pm, with callbacks on Thursday October 29th from 5-9 pm.

Lead roles, Jeff and Kathryn, are paying because of their extensive part in the film. In addition all meals will be provided to all actors and a DVD copy as is expected.

Characters needed:

Jeff: late 20s to mid-30s. Main character of the film, Jeff is a very flamboyant individual trying to be accepted as an equal in Suburbia. Must be able to sing and dance, preferred tenor or somewhere close.

Kathryn: Early 50s to early 60s. Protagonist, she is an overly religious "crotchety" woman who is not accepting of new things. Does not have any singing or dancing parts.

Tim: 10 to 13 years old. "All-American" boy who sees the good in Jeff. Singing and little dancing experience preferred but not required.

Keith: 10 to 13 years old. "All-American" boy, Tim's friend in the neighborhood. Singing and dancing experience also preferred but not required.

Keith's little sister: 8 to 12 years old. Dancing experience preferred.

Terry: Mid-thirties. Typical outspoken suburban father who believes sports are the whole world.

Roger: Mid-thirties. Fairly reserved, can't make up his mind about Jeff.
