We are seeking a Help Desk Technician to join our team in Golden, CO on a long-term contract. US Citizens only.
This includes desktop and laptop, hardware and software; network troubleshooting, in collaboration with the network infrastructure groups; desktop updates and backup environments.
Duties shall include, but not be limited to:
• Document customer problems and communicate service information to users and record action using work order system.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop/laptop system, printer and operating problems.
• Consult and instruct users on hardware and software questions/issues.
• Collaborate and consult with IT teams on network issues.
• Install, maintain and upgrade desktop and laptop environments.
• Runs diagnostic tests to isolate network problems and make recommendations for potential solutions.
• Responds to error messages, equipment failures and other concerns from users.
• Ensures systems remain operational during working support hours.
• Working knowledge of Outlook exchange email services.
• Activating security tokens and educating clients as needed.
The above duties shall be performed in the following environment:
Standard Software Suite – MS Office 2000, 2003
Hardware – Gateway, Dell, Macintosh, Blackberry
Utility Software – TrendMicro, SMS, McAfee
Windows Server and Active Directory environments
