$85000 Mountain land, close to Denver! (Morrison)
Pros: 1 acre filled with Ponderosa pine (spaced nicely). Driveway in, has a level building area, engineering for well and septic done, and septic permit issued. Zoned A2 for horses, agriculture, and certain small businesses (bookkeeping, produce stand, telecommunications...quite a few, take a look at A2 zoning for Jefferson County). No Covenants (mobile, manufactured, or cabin allowed). Creek crosses land, but building envelope is above the creek so will not flood. Easy access. . .only 2 miles to Hwy285 then only 5 more miles to C-470.
Cons: Neighbor has easement to use driveway and the lot is a slope.
Some of the pictures show an old barn: this has now been removed and the building envelope has been excavated to make it a little wider. The picture with the silver car in it is what the current building envelope looks like.
This is the closest-in property that you will find for this price. . .with a driveway, trees, creek, addressing/zoning work done, plans for well and septic approved, and septic permit issued! Just bring your plans (or RV or...)! Only $85,000, which is well below other properties in the area. I would like to sell this year, as unexpected life events have altered my plans.
Address is 7438 S. Turkey Creek Rd., Morrison. If you do a streetview on google maps it will place you in front of the neighbor's house (old log cabin). The land shares a driveway with that neighbor. You will see a well house, which is on the property line. My land goes North from the well house all the way to the middle of the bridge that the creek goes under.
