Records Analysts work within the Records department moving and keeping track of a substantial volume of electronic and paper documents and other exhibits. They are also responsible for collecting data relevant to preventing conflicts of interest within the firm and running reports against that data. The Records Department operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and at other times when there is a special need. The various core functions and roles a Records Analyst is required to perform includes (but is not limited to) the following:<br>
<br>
	Collect records from around the company and arrange for on-site or off-site storage as appropriate.<br>
	Retrieve records from storage and deliver them to the locations where they are needed.<br>
	Keep precise and accurate data on those records in an electronic database.<br>
	Maintain a database with information on its current and past projects and runs reports against that database so as to prevent conflicts of interest.<br>
<br>
<br>
A Records Analyst needs to manage a constantly changing stream of incoming work requests and prioritize those requests according to need and to maintain efficiency without sacrificing accuracy. Their work requires extreme accuracy in entering data into an electronic database and diligence in ensuring that the data is kept accurate and up-to-date. They also are repeatedly called upon to query the database and retrieve specific data.<br>
Electronic records and exhibits are quickly becoming a significant portion of the overall set of records. As a result, a Records Analyst must either have or be eager to acquire those skills useful in collecting and storing electronic records and for retrieving them as they are needed.<br>

A top candidate should have<br>
<br>
	A minimum of 2 years experience as a records analyst or in a related job.<br>
	Prior law firm experience is strongly preferred.<br>
	Experience with Elite software is also preferred.<br>
	A demonstrated ability to accurately maintain current information in an electronic database.<br>
	A demonstrated ability to query an electronic database to draw out specific information.<br>
	An ability to prioritize a constantly changing set of work requests sometimes under severe time constraints.<br>
	Prior experience using barcode printers and scanners for inventory control.<br>
	Knowledge and experience handling files and folders in a Windows environment.<br>
	Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer.<br>
	Experience using internet applications particularly as they relate to working with vendors outside the company.<br>
	An ability to communicate efficiently both orally and in writing. (English)<br>
	Must be able to repeatedly lift and move 50 - 70 pounds.<br>

<description><![CDATA[A Regency Student Housing Desk Attendant (DA) is a student who lives in the residential community and serves the community at the front desk. The DA receives and routes incoming calls; greets students and visitors; performs routine office support functions, and performs related duties as assigned. The front desk is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. <br>
<br>
Minimum Qualifications:<br>
A. Desk Attendants must be enrolled as a part-time, degree-seeking students and must maintain<br>
a minimum cumulative and semester grade point average of 2.5. <br>
<br>
B. Outside activities and/or jobs must be limited to 15 hours per week for 1st year Desk Attendants, or 20 hours per week for returning Desk Attendants. These are defined as any time commitments that occur outside of scheduled classes and DA responsibilities. These activities must be adjusted so that they will not conflict with DA responsibilities, including the scheduling of desk shifts, staff meetings, training sessions, and certain programmatic responsibilities. It is expected that DA responsibilities are priority over all extra-curricular activities. Any academic, extra-curricular or employment commitments above these levels must be discussed with the Supervisor prior to assuming and remaining in the Desk Attendant position. No exceptions will be granted for 1st Year DAs during their first semester of employment. <br>
<br>
C. Preference is given to applicants who will be enrolled on campus all three semesters. <br>
<br>
D. Desk Attendant will exhibit strong organizational and written skills, and can work well both individually and as part of a team. <br>
 <br>
E. Desk Attendants have a high level of maturity exhibited in sound judgment, emotional stability, flexibility, and willingness to accept responsibility. <br>
<br>
F. As a staff member of The Regency, it is expected that a Desk Attendant will model appropriate behavior and follow all published and stated rules and regulations. <br>
<br>
G. The Regency does not close for winter and summer breaks. DAs will be expected to be on duty during those time periods. Thanksgiving, Spring Break, and all University Holidays are considered to be part of the academic year and will be considered regular working days. <br>
Compensation: <br>
Desk Attendants will be compensated with a space in a double unit at The Regency. <br>
