Hours are varied due to specific need with an emphasis between 8am - 6pm.
We do have limited evening and weekend need.
Part Time Positions are available, but are based on the need of the program which does change from time to time.
Starting Pay is $10/hr.
There is a 90 day trial period, at which time there will be a performance review with a potential raise.
We do not currently offer medical benefits.
Experience working with the DD population is preferred but not required.
We focus on Independence and Integration and pride ourselves on our attention to the individual and there specific needs.
These needs are addressed in a variety of settings, both in the consumer’s primary residence and/or in the community.
Driving is required, primarily in your personal vehicle or possibly in company van.
There are no special license requirements for driving.
We work in small groups (normally 1 x 4 or fewer).
We also provide one on one service with a focus on independent living.
General responsibilities vary, but surround assisting those we serve with good decision making, organization and life planning practices, community safety and general awareness.
We also require daily documentation that reflects the individual’s targeted needs and outcomes.
We will provide all needed training for you to confidently fulfill these requirements.

Job Context
This position is critical in identifying and building relationships with corporate and tribal donors in order to develop partnerships that benefit tribal colleges and their communities. General foster care: Ages: 0-21 Children that are placed temporarily until they reunify with their family or are adopted. Some children demonstrate symptoms and behaviors related to trauma and can be addressed by utilizing behavioral modification techniques. Children that demonstrate a higher level of trauma symptoms may be in individual therapy, speech therapy and physical therapy. Most children will have supervised visits with their family until reunification. The average length of time a child is in foster care can be as short as 24 hours to 6 months. Some children remain in foster care longer depending on the bio-family or the adoption process. Reimbursement: ranges from 600.00 through 1000.00 per month per child depending on severity of behaviors and needs of the child.
Developmentally Delayed children/Adolescents Ages 10-21: Children/young adults that are significantly delayed with a qualifying IQ of 69 or less. Some have medical needs in addition to the developmental delays. This population requires parents that have patience and love, a willing to learn new techniques and to provide a high level of supervision. CNA experience is helpful but not required. Each child has individual needs that may range from frequent doctor visits, PT,OT therapy and psychiatric care, and can include total dependency care to frequent behavioral modification techniques. The severity range varies, each child will be assessed carefully and placed in the appropriate home that can meet their needs. Most of these children will not return home and will remain with a foster parent for the duration of their childhood, they will transfer from foster care into an adult program in the community. Reimbursement: Reimbursement for this population ranges from 1,500.00 up to 3,000.00 per month per child, depending on severity of and frequency of behaviors/medical/supervision needs.
Adolescent Specific Care: Ages 13-18 We are looking for specific homes to provide a range of specific care for adolescents:
Mutual Care: Teen mothers that are placed in foster care that are pregnant or have their child with them. High level of supervision, ability to role model and teach parenting skills, able to care for the baby of the mother while she attends school and other appointments. The teen mother may have supervised visits with her own bio-family. Ability to be a birthing coach for the teen mom if needed. Ability to report abuse/neglect by the teen mother while in care. Teach independent living skills and connect teen to resources they can utilize when they return to their home or emancipate into the community.
Offense Specific Care: Teens may be on probation or sentenced to the Department of Corrections. Most have a history or are involved with drugs/alcohol and have legal involvement with a probation/parole officer. Foster Parent will expect accountability for time in the community, teach independent living skills, connect youth to resources they may utilize once they emancipate. Youth should learn and become independent utilizing the transit system and managing their daily schedule. Foster parent will demonstrate and role model respect, effective communication and utilize crisis intervention and effective communication.

The Central Region Major Gifts Officer (MGO) is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, acknowledgment and stewardship of major gifts ($1,000+) for LCV, LCVEF and LCV Action Fund. In addition, MGOs work regionally with our central and mountain state league partners to raise funds jointly from both national and state league donors and major donor prospects as part of a collaborative fundraising structure.
The Major Gifts Officer will work with the SVP of Development, the Director of Major Donor Programs, and the Director of Collaborative Fundraising to help prepare an annual major gifts fundraising plan that includes both joint solicitation with the state league and solicitation of LCV/LCVEF donors for LCV/LCVEF only. MGOs will be responsible for maintaining a specific portfolio of individual major donors, select foundation funders, and prospects.
Responsibilities:
• Work in concert with the Director of Major Donor Programs to develop and implement an annual major donor cultivation and solicitation action plan, including methods of identifying new donors and implementing solicitation and stewardship strategies for current and prospective donors.
• Manage a defined major donor portfolio that includes current, lapsed and prospective donors as well as joint state league donors. Responsibilities include: visit and trip management; current, lapsed, and prospective donor outreach; and facilitation of donor requests for materials and information.
• Perform major gift solicitations via face to face asks, personal letters, and phone calls. Depending on the region, some of these solicitations will be conducted with the state league.
• Conduct research on donors and prospects and manage organization and database profiles for portfolio of donors.
• Work with LCV’s development and communications staff, along with state league partners, to develop compelling materials and scripts to maximize fundraising results.
• Work with LCV/LCVEF board and state league partners’ boards to help gain access to donors and prospects and to expand relationships with donors in region.
• Work with state league partners to steward and cultivate joint major donors.
• Work with state league partners to plan and oversee joint major donor fundraising special events in their region, including possible candidate bundling events for LCV Action Fund.
• Serve as a training resource and mentor to state league development staff and state leagues’ boards as appropriate. Assist in the implementation of strategies to upgrade and convert mail responsive donors to the major donors.
• Ensure portfolio records are current with all necessary and pertinent information and input contacts and actions into database in a timely manner.
• Help to identify planned giving prospects.
• Prepare regular major gifts reports for the Director of Major Donor Programs for inclusion in development division reports to the Boards of Directors and the President.
• Participate in the strategic planning for fundraising programs with full staff, as well as regular development and message meetings.

The Job
You will work in the political arena, getting your hands dirty, building organizations and fighting for the victories that put us on a more sustainable and more democratic course.
In order to build the necessary citizen support, you will go out into communities, talk with people about the issues, raise money and build membership for the great organizations we work with.

Leadership positions
Field Managers and Campaign Coordinators take on extra responsibilities: Field Managers work closely with the Canvass Director to meet the goals of the office. They direct a crew of canvassers daily, overseeing a variety of canvass field activities, including: meeting personal fundraising and petition-gathering goals; training and motivating the other members of the crew; and coordinating canvass logistics, such as developing a strategy to build support in a neighborhood.
Field Managers earn an additional $50-$100 each week.
Campaign Coordinators work closely with the directors to develop and implement winning campaign tactics. While canvassing is the most effective means of educating citizens and generating grassroots support, Campaign Coordinators reinforce these efforts through a variety of campaign tactics, such as organizing the media, building coalitions and writing letters-to-the-editor of major area newspapers.
Summary: Provides support to developmentally disabled persons, adapting integration/inclusion techniques in the community and methods of instruction, guidance and support in meeting individual needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provides opportunities for community inclusion while considering individualized preferences, levels of cogniscence and physical limitations of clients.
- Confers with Supervisors, Coordinators, Residential Providers and IDT team members to develop community-based programs for clients.
- Supports clients by using therapeutic educational strategies and techniques to improve sensory motor, and perceptual motor development, perception, memory, language, cognition and social and emotional development.
- Performs direct care functions relating to personal hygiene, eating, toileting, wheelchair transfers and so on.
- Works with other staff members to develop programs that maximize client’s potentials.
- Works with clients to increase motivation, provide consistent reinforcement to learning, continuous assessment of level of functioning and continuous positive and constructive feedback on all learning activities.

Under the direction of the Executive Director and the client organizations’ Board of Directors, the Association Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Executive Director and other internal staff members with project work as needed. This individual must be able to maintain first-rate customer service while being professional and responsive.

The Association Coordinator must have a minimum of three years agency, consulting, or non-profit experience with demonstrated strategic and analytical skills. The Association Coordinator will know how to articulate the association’s vision and mission, create consensus with volunteer leaders, motivate people as well as build partnerships with members and other organizations. Additionally, the Association Coordinator will possess highly developed interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact positively with all constituents of the association. This person will also offer a high level of personal energy and an enthusiasm for results-oriented performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Outreach Housing & Placement Case Manager is the lead Urban Peak case manager in the HPRP grant. This position acts as a liaison on the streets to inform youth, community groups and businesses about the services offered by Urban Peak to promote the health, safety and well-being of homeless and runaway youth and to assist youth in permanently exiting street life. This individual provides comprehensive outreach and case management services to youth who are homeless in Metro Denver. Services provided include but are not limited to: crisis intervention, provision of basic needs, facilitation of increased access to emergency shelter, in-reach to emergency shelters, transportation, client advocacy and service linkage. The Case Manager provides assessments and case management to youth who are targeted for housing in order to address their barriers to permanent housing and locate appropriate housing for four (4) youth per quarter. This person works as part of a larger interagency team to coordinate outreach services and housing placement for youth who are on the streets or homeless within the shelter systems, which includes daily data entry into various databases. Coverage of the Drop-in Center is also a requirement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience working with high-risk youth populations.
• Two (2) years street Outreach experience preferred.
• Experience, competence and sensitivity, and the ability to connect well and work effectively with the homeless youth population, especially youth who identify as LGBTQ, are service resistant, mentally ill, addicted to substances or otherwise impaired.
• Skill in operating office equipment, such as computers, software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; email) and telephones.
• Skill in oral and written communications.
• Skill in negotiating and mediating, particularly in sensitive situations.
• Able to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
• Able to make sound decisions, using available information while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.

• Must be insurable as a driver on Urban Peak’s auto liability policy to transport youth using an Urban Peak vehicle or an approved personal vehicle.
• Must pass a FBI criminal background check and drug screen.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Employees in this position are subject to long hours on their feet in an outdoor street environment that may frequently include physical conditions such as inclement weather or temperature extremes and interpersonal contact from non-employees that include sexual innuendo and raw, abusive or threatening language. Employees must be comfortable providing safer sex supplies and bleach kits to youth. Employees will outreach to homeless youth in public places, under bridges, in abandoned buildings, and other outdoor areas in an attempt to engage them in a non-threatening way.
WORK SCHEDULE: This is a full time exempt position. Hours may be early morning, day, evening, late night, and weekend hours. Some holiday hours are required. This position occasionally requires being on call for client and staffing emergencies.

Grants Management
Review grant rules, regulations and contracts and provide MHYC with instruction and guidance on properly executing the grant.
Develop timelines and calendars for grant implementation, submission and reporting dates, and funding areas. Provide these to individual coordinators/directors involved with each grant.
Maintain reporting calendars for current and new government grants and submit quality reports.
Maintain other documentation related to grant compliance and reporting including management of employment files for Corpsmembers and staff whose positions are funded by specific grants.
Collect other reporting information from MHYC staff and prepare for submission according to grant report requirements.
Ensure timely completion of reporting related to grants including database management.
Coordinate and participate in program monitoring visits and meetings required/requested by funders.
Work closely with MHYC Director of Programs, Director of Finance and Director of Development to ensure successful implementation of grant requirements.
Grant Proposal Writing
Develop timelines for the preparation process of grant proposals and coordinate with the Director of Programs and Director of Finance to ensure that all departments have sufficient time to prepare their components of the application.
Write grant proposals and submit applications in a timely manner.
Research new funding prospects, evaluate MHYC programs to determine if they meet grant guidelines, and prepare and submit grant proposals.
Ensure complete and accurate records and files are maintained for funding sources.
Participate in training sessions, seminars, and/or events provided by funders.
Develop appropriate relationships with current and potential funders and their staffs.
Establish and maintain working relationship with MHYC program staff in an effort to recognize and seek out targeted program funding opportunities.

Provide prompt, responsive service to funder/prospect inquiries.

About Skyline: Skyline Soccer Association is a non-profit premier soccer club in the Southeast Denver area. The club has been around for 40+ years and continues to grow. The club is made up of player’s ages 3 to 18 in leagues consisting of Grasshoppers and Munchkins, Developmental, Intermediate and Competitive.
Mission Statement: Skyline Soccer Association is committed to providing our players and their families with high quality soccer programs that allow each player to achieve the highest level of soccer that they desire in a fun, educational, and safe environment through the proper training and assessment of our coaches and players while operating the Club in a financially sound and prudent manner.
Purpose – Manages and controls the day to day functions of the club’s curriculum, the club’s volunteer coaches, the club coaches, the Developmental Director, the competitive program and assists General Manager and Associations representatives with additional services.
Job Description –
• Maintain lines of communication with Skyline’s BOD, General Manager, coaching staff, CYS and most importantly, our members.
• Manage day to day functions of the competitive program.
• Recruit, select, train and evaluate paid coaching staff for the Competitive program.
• Interview, train and manage all Club Coach staff.
• Assist Developmental Director in recruitment and placement of Developmental coaches.
• Resolve any coach/player, coach/parent conflicts.
• Promote, manage and oversee the tryout process and selection for the Competitive program.
• Consistently develop and implement age group curriculums U4 – U18 (Developmental, Academy & Competitive).
• Implement goalkeeper curriculum.
• Promote Skyline to the club’s constituents and prospects.
• Aid in the development of the leagues and Skyline’s programs, including, but not limited to: recruiting, organizing and planning coaches’ clinics, speaking and participating in meetings of membership.
• Organize and plan workshops, seminars and other types of education programs to be presented to the club’s constituents, league meetings and schools.
• Attend regional and national coaching symposiums, seminars and workshops as directed by the General Manager.
• Report monthly to the BOD in writing all updates, changes and new ideas.
• Seek sponsorships and grants for Skyline Soccer Association.

• Oversee, promote and manage the yearly jamboree Skyline hosts.

Qualifications –

• NSCAA playing experience is a plus.

• USYS National Youth License.
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college.
• Grade 8 referee certification preferred.
• Substantial playing experience at the college, premiere or national level.
