Mondays and Tuesdays 6:00 am to 3:30 pm
Wednesdays 7:30 am until 3:30-4:00
Thursday 8:00- 3:00
friday: 7:30- 6:00

As you can see I need a flexible loving, safety consious caregiver! I am open to SAHM 's and others. I need someone reliable, esp.. on the early days. I need to feel my son will be SAFE and well cared for. He is just starting potty training, so will be using diapers.

As a mom, I feel that I have to warn other parents on here looking for a provider to care for their newborn or infant. Please beware of anyone offering to watch your infant in their home for just $35-$40 a day part-time or $150 a week full-time, licensed or not. We have found that most people charging so little are not the type of people you should trust with your baby, regardless of what their "references" tell you. Most people offering this type of "inexpensive/affordable care" are desperate and need the income to pay their bills. Trust me, they are not doing it because they love doing it. If they are not doing it for the money, then why do they need to watch so many children vs. just 1 or 2? Because they make $3,000 - $4,000 a month by watching 5 children which is more than most moms I know.

The stories I could share with you about our personal experience and of those some of our friends had with these type of providers would seriously make you think twice. More than once, we have found that our baby was left in their carseat for several hours, and in a dirty diaper, or not fed, because we were trying to save money. And just because a stay at home mom or someone that was previously a teacher or preschool worker now has a license, DOES NOT guarantee that they will provide quality care. And, if they are also caring for school aged children, then your infant is being exposed to the flu germs at their school.

While I agree that a home environment while they are very young is much better than a large center, if you can afford a nanny or someone older with no children of their own in their care, and just 1 or 2 other babies that they care for, you will have a much better chance of finding someone who will provide quality care for your baby. Your baby can't tell you about their day.

I'm not trying to scare anyone, but feel I need to share this information. Just please be careful in your search. There really are some great providers on here. Meet them in person at their home and trust your gut. And remember, cheapest isn't always best. You really do get what you pay for. Find someone who has a low ratio. Isn't the safety and care of your baby worth a few more dollars a day?

If I have one other infant during the time you need me, I may be able to provide care for you if you can bring your little one to me. Love to sing, play and read lots of books. One of our favorite things to do is to walk to the park with the stroller and feed the ducks. I provide lots of cuddling time and one-on-one TLC for your little one.

Larger centers, SAHM's and daycare homes are great, but babies tend to do best during their first year when they are cared for one-on-one and in a nurturing home environment (more attention, less sickness, happier babies). Teenage and college-aged baby sitters are fine, but many just don't have the experience and patience required to care for newborns and infants. Babies need more than just a full tummy and dry diaper. Why risk exposing your little one to the swine flu in larger centers and daycare homes?

My schedule is pretty flexible...DAYS, EVENINGS, WEEKENDS, OVERNIGHTS! Opening for one infant 3-5 days per week. My home is in Highlands Ranch (Westridge off of C470 and Lucent/HR Parkway). You live or work in or around...SW Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Chatfield, Ken Caryl, Arapahoe Community College, Roxborough, Centennial, Palomino Park, Lone Tree, Park Meadows...(C470 and Ken Caryl, Kipling, Wadsworth, Santa Fe, Lucent, Broadway, University, Quebec).

An 8-10 hour day or an overnight stay is $60 for one infant. Full time care is $250 for 5 days/week. If you just need occasional part-time care, my hourly fee is $10/hour for one infant, with a 4-hour minimum per visit (your home or mine).

I know I don't have a ton of experience being a nanny, but I can promise I would love and care for your little angel as if she/he was my own. I would fallow your schedule with her to the tee, read to her, do art project, walks to the park, and tuck her in for her nap with a kiss on the forehead. I would need to bring my 4mo old son with me, but I promise I would not slack on care for your child, Noah is very good baby and I am positive I could care for him and your child/children with no problem.
