Description
Direct the overall administrative and technical operations of the Human Resources Department at SMC including Employee Wellness Center. Develop and execute strategies in collaboration with administration to enhance all phases of Human Resources including employee relations, compensation, training and development, recruitment and employment.
Qualifications
A. Licensure/Certification/Registration:
None
B. Education:
Appropriate Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field. Master Degree required.
C. Experience:
Healthcare experience as a Human Resources Director preferred or Assistant Director required.
D. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must have effective verbal and written communication in order to communication in a clear, concise manner
with staff, employees, patients, public, physicians and administration. Demonstrated analytical skills are needed to interpret and analyze personnel statistical data and payroll reports and recommend appropriate action. Must have solid knowledge of labor law and employee relations. Must be knowledgeable in budget preparation and control, scheduling, counseling, motivating and disciplining of employees.
