My current lease is up at the end of December, and I hope to move right around then- mid- to late-December.

I'm looking for a place to live in Denver for my little dog and I. I'm 23, employed full time, sort of an artist type, and all around mellow and groovy. She's about three, a Beagle-Lab mix, a little overweight at 30-odd pounds, and has started getting past the wild puppy days of her youth. She gets on pretty well with dogs, but she has no idea what to think of cats- though a controlled meeting would probably put her at ease.

You: preferably like mellow and groovy artist types, dogs, and won't mind sharing space with us. Maybe we'll even become friends of a sort- who says roommates have to have relationships made purely from economic convenience?

A PLACE OF MY OWN $300600

Hello~! My name is Sabrina. I am 25 yrs old (26 in December!!!!!) and currently seeking a place I can actually call MY OWN!!! I have been having an extremely difficult time finding that home. Maybe I am simply being too honest & maybe scaring potential landlords a smidge...or maybe I just have not come across "The One" for me just yet. I know that my main problem is my slightly "Colorful" background. Nothing terrible-no I didnt murder anyone (or even try for that matter...lol). No bank robberies (tho the $ would be nice...just playin'!). I have no problem discussing it with possible future landlords~all ya gotta do is ask!
I have been staying with friends for some time now and have recently reached a point in my life that requires me to go ahead and get my own place. More than one reason are behind this~ A couple of the major reasons : I am going on 3 months pregnant and need to get stable for myself and my child. Its all up to me to take care of my baby, daddy doesn't want the responsibility~Not ready to grow up apparently. The other reason is that I need to be able to go home and know that nobody else has been invited into the house and decided to take a parting gift for themselves when they leave! That gets old after a while.........
I do have an eviction on my record and I know it also may have an impact on me getting a place.
Basically, I am hoping that someone reads this and is willing and able to give me a chance to make a safe & comfortable HOME for myself and somewhere I feel good about bringing my new baby home to when the day comes! I have gone through some things that are not so desirable in my life, all helping me to learn about myself and become the person I am today and know the person I do not want to be in the future. Its been kinda 50/50 for me...half bad(experiencing it at all) and half good(learning from experience what is possible and what I dont want in my life & how to make the things I WANT in my life ACTUALLY HAPPEN instead of wasting my life away). If I am given the opportunity to achieve my goal and make a home for me and my baby there would be nothing more I could ask for right now. A helping hand towards a step in the right direction is all I need. This opportunity will not be taken for granted nor will it be abused. I am so excited to be able to PROVE that I CAN & WILL BE RESPONSIBLE & BE ABLE TO RAISE MY CHILD!
I guess I didnt really need to write a mini-novel did I!? lol O-well...Hope it wasnt boring-but then again, if it was TOO boring, I dont know that it would still be being read at this point...HAHA!

We are looking for a 2 or more bedroom home with less than $800 in rent per month. We are currently in transitional housing due to unfortunate circumstances and have the ability to get back on our feet. The organization that is helping us is able to assist us with our first months rent and deposit only within Adams County. We have had a hard time with our credit situation and had found out that our credit had 3 other social security numbers associated with it resulting in 11 additional negative items on our credit. After filing a complaint with the credit bureau, they have recognized this and have removed the creditors associated with the other people. Unfortunately, our credit still is not that great, but we our working to dissolve the problems and are looking for the chance to do so and live comfortably. We also have had to send our wonderfully behaved dog to another family temporarily and would like her to come home with us when we find a place if at all possible. One of us is collecting unemployment and the other has just received a wonderful opportunity working for a large organization and making a comfortable income.
