Those who bought from me last year know that the plants I sell are hardy and vigorous!
This year (3rd Year heirlooming)I decided to do some of the more hard to find ones that I know you'll enjoy.

As always we are growing the plants using organic methods and lots of tlc.
They will be in 4" inch pots and about 6" tall when ready.

Craftsman Lawn Tractor 20 HP, with 42� two stage snowblower attachment. Electric Start, Automatic transmission, 20 horsepower Briggs & Stratton I/C (Industrial / Commercial) twin cylinder engine. Model LT-1000, 917.272920.

This tractor was included as a part of our recent home purchase but we have since purchased a plow to handle our snow removal needs. From the documentation I received, the previous owner purchased new in 2003. Then he ordered the extras which include 42� two stage snow blower, rear wheel weights, wheel chains and rear sand keg and tray. I believe these accessories cost about $1000 plus professional installation.

The owner used it for the 2003 and 2004 season along with their second snowblower which also came with the home. The 42� mowing deck was removed when new and sits in the garage just as it was. There is no lawn at our mountain property. In 2005 the owner left for a new job in Chicago and the tractor sat in the garage until we moved in 2007. I used it some last Fall until we ended up buying a large plow. It starts right up, runs flawlessly, blows snow into oblivion and does not smoke. There are no problems with the tractor except for the small tear in the seat. I figure original cost was about $2500, I�m asking $1200 cash. Might consider trade for guns or 250 size dirt bike, gold and silver coins also.

It's probably going to need just a little TLC, not much; specifically the floor boards need to be bolted down a little more securely, but the floor is cool because it looks original; real thick, sturdy, treated wood, which gives it a real neat look. The trailer looks nice enough that you should be able to park it in front of your house and not get any complaints; very nice appeal.

For sale is this 1952 Ford 8N Tractor. A drawbar, scrape blade and single bottom plow are all included.

Original condition, has not been restored.
Original sheet metal - this would be an excellent tractor for restoration project.
Solid, would also make an excellent work tractor (snow removal, light farming, ranching, landscaping etc.).
3 point rear hitch.
Handy tool box mounted on the inside, left rear fender.

Runs and runs great the last time we had 'er started up, but needs a new battery and some general maintenance (oil etc.) before I'd be comfortable turning the ignition today. The last time this tractor was used was 5 years ago. The plow was modified from a two bottom plow to a single bottom (the better to use on an acreage, rather than for farming, as it was originally intended). The rear 'flood' lights are included, though they are not wired so do not function. But that's an easy enough problem to fix since the lights are there.

There are no rust-through spots, though there is some surface discoloration/rust where the paint has worn off, but that's not at all unexpected in a tractor that's 56 years old! It's been garaged when not in use for the last 25+ years (after my father acquired it), that I can guarantee. Before that? I do not know if my great-grandfather kept it in a garage. He probably did in the winter, but I think it sat out at least some of the time in the summer while he was farming with it. Though this tractor has never been pampered, it certainly has never been abused either. If you are really want to know more of it's history, I can tell you a great deal of that as well.

Rear tires are in excellent, like new condition. The rubber is pliable and 99% +/- of the tread remains. The front tires however are old and weathered, the rubber has hardened over time, but they are still usable for many years to come if you wish (though they may need new inner tubes).

Okay, here's the deal. It's an older mower, but seems to have had very light usage from the previous owner who gave it to me. I cleaned it up as best I could, and it runs great, but engine speed does fluctuate the way all Briggs and Strattons seem to when they are dirty.

Long story short, first thirty bucks takes it, and all it needs is a tune up kit from Sears and a little bit of work. I'd do it myself but that requires more money I don't have and do need but most importantly here is I have no time to do it, need it gone, and am willing to let it go very cheap.

Available in Westy for immeadiate pickup before 2:30, and then again after 5 when I get back from running a few errands.
