We are seeking a Process Engineer - Chemical with a background in inorganic chemistry, experience with PV thin film treatment processes, and the management of chemical processes in high volume process manufacturing. The Chemical Process Engineer will be responsible for wet chemistry processes, defining post deposition treatments for the photovoltaic film stack.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record in chemical processing and manufacturing. This position requires a BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, along with at least 5 years of process experience. Special consideration will be given to candidates with advanced degrees and greater levels of experience in high volume technology manufacturing.
Responsibilities include:
• Working within cross-functional process teams to successfully implement refinements to thin film chemical treatments.
• Defining operational procedures for pilot and prototype processing.
• In collaboration with chemical suppliers, defining specifications and quality requirements.
• Working with EHS personnel to develop procedures to ensure heath and safety requirements are met.
