The Denver Teaching Fellows program is calling on outstanding individuals who are fluent in both Spanish and English to become bilingual elementary teachers in Denver Public Schools. Effective bilingual teachers scaffold students’ language acquisition as they learn academic English while maintaining Spanish proficiency. CSAP data shows that 6 out of 10 5th grade Hispanic students are not proficient in reading, while only 2 out of 10 white students are not proficient. (2009 CSAP Scores)

Denver Teaching Fellows focuses on recruiting outstanding professionals and recent college graduates who will use their knowledge, experience and records of achievement to become effective bilingual teachers in Denver Public Schools. No previous experience in education is necessary.

After intensive preparation over the summer (for which teachers are paid a living stipend), Denver Teaching Fellows participants will begin teaching full-time in the fall of 2010 while pursuing their Colorado teaching license. Their potential is mile high. Help them reach it. Teach.

The Denver Teaching Fellows program is calling on outstanding individuals to become math teachers in Denver Public Schools. Both middle and high school students need teachers who are enthusiastic about math and bring real-world experience to make linear equations and the Pythagorean Theorem come alive. This pressing need is illustrated by the fact that only 15% of 10th graders in DPS are proficient in math. (2009 CSAP Scores)

Denver Teaching Fellows focuses on recruiting outstanding professionals and recent college graduates who will use their knowledge, experience and records of achievement to become effective math teachers in Denver Public Schools. No previous experience in education is necessary.

After intensive preparation over the summer (for which teachers are paid a living stipend), Denver Teaching Fellows participants will begin teaching full-time in the fall of 2010 while pursuing their Colorado teaching license. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, but no education coursework or prior teaching experience is required.

Seeking presenters, speakers, educators, professionals, entrepreneurs and adventurers!

Do you believe that…
“Only a life lived for others is a life worth living”.
Albert Einstein

“One person cannot change the world…but I can change the world of one person”.

We are The Ovation Company…Standing up for what is good! Based in Littleton, Colorado, The Ovation Company (TOC) is an educational organization dedicated to improving the climate and culture for all who share the school environment. Established in 2004, TOC works with teaching institutions and organizations striving to maximize student performance through improved personal interactions. Anti bullying, leadership retreats, teacher training, senior seminars, keynote speaking and general consulting are the foundation on which The Ovation Company operates. Our mission is to help people of all ages reach their full potential by cultivating and nurturing positive communications in a safe and supportive environment.

In 2010, The Ovation Company will be championing a new subsidiary division entitled “Standing Room Only” (SRO). It is SRO’s mission to partner with individuals who demonstrate the passion, desire and drive to positively change the world through their voice, their talent, and their soul. SRO is a lofty venture to give people from the personal, professional and entrepreneurial community the opportunity to join the OVATION team and become a part of our speaker’s consortium. Under the umbrella of The Ovation Company, it is our desire to work with and ultimately partner with like minded people who have like minded goals of helping others.

We are seeking people from all walks of life to become a part of our team of speakers and presenters. We are looking for professionals, teachers, actors, writers, athletes, survivors, entrepreneurs, adventurers, musicians, singers, health care providers, etc., as well as people of all races, creeds and cultures. If you have a story or message, we want to meet you. If you have always wanted to be a speaker or presenter, this could be your opportunity. If you have something to say, we can help you say it and provide the infrastructure in which to do it. Our expertise is education, presenting and training. What can you do that would help our team grow…and give back to the community?

This is not a job opportunity as much as it is a partnering opportunity. We are professionals who make our living in the speaking, training and teaching community. It is our passion… and our livelihood. The dream of making money while helping improve the lives of others is the vision of many…and the path of few. The Ovation Company and SRO have dreams of reaching more people, changing more lives and making the world a wonderful place in which to share and enjoy. However, we cannot do it alone. We need help; from the tenured veteran to the untapped raw talent; from the genuinely funny to the genuinely courageous. We are seeking authentic, honest, caring, integrity rich people whose talents and gifts are as individual as they are. We will provide training, coaching, mentoring, professional development, marketing and possible speaking engagements for promising candidates. Please inform us if you are an advanced, professional presenter.

Visit our website and see who we are and what we are about. If what we do speaks to you and you would like to explore this opportunity more, then contact us via email with a brief cover letter, resume and a thought or two that may help us get to know you.
