We have a post that runs on a cron job that needs updating. The post is built (we think, but needs to be tested) with all the DB fields and the fields to send through CURL.

Experience programming under Symfony is required with an understanding of the chain of responsibility when dealing with MVC frameworks. Also applicant should be very proficient with Javascript/CSS/DHTML and the more popular (prototype, jquery, json, etc...) tools and OO methods and patterns. Experience running a LAMP server enterprise or cloud implementation is a plus. Experience with Zend Framework is a plus.
THE GAME:
The basic concept is quite simple; it is based off a popular flash game. Our game will be similar gameplay mechanics but have completely different graphics and game play will be tweaked to suit the iPhone.
The project requires expertise in programming and memory management. The game uses 2D animated graphics only. The entire game takes place within a single screen/frame but has a lot of individual animations. Must have the ability to use touch for controls and pinch function to zoom in/out. We would like to incorporate a magnifying lens similar to the one used for text editing instead of using pinch zoom, but this would be an extra bonus.
