You can arrive the night before your trip's start date to load and spend the night on your own houseboat in the yard and get an early start OR, you can arrive in the morning and load and go. The management company delivers you to the lake; the houseboat by large trailer, your group and your personal ski boat for you, by passenger van. You walk on to the houseboat at the top of the ramp and the trailer drops the boat into the lake. It is a very convenient way to access Lake Powell. You spend the week on the lake, and then reverse the process: they pick you up and deliver you back to the yard, where you unload and are on your way home within the hour. The management company cleans the boat, refuels it, dumps the black water tanks, and restocks all supplies (water, bottled water, linens, toilet paper and paper towels). You just have to get there and bring bathing suits, boat and food. The houseboat is maintained in great condition and you can relax on your vacation.

One of the benefits of this launch and retrieve program is the management company's ability to perform maintenance in between trips. This practically guarantees the boat will be mechanically sound each week. What if the previous owner runs aground or damages the boat or there is a mechanical failure? If there is a fix needed, the management company will work 24/7 to make the repair overnight. They stock spare motors, out-drives and all other equipment. You will be on the lake even if there was problem the week before. Another benefit is fuel cost savings and convenience. With launch and retrieve, fuel is purchased land-based so it is generally a dollar cheaper per gallon. And it's done for you. If you burn 400 of the 600 gallons available on board, you will save approximately $400.00, which helps offset the management cost.

I have used it a few times on choppy waters of Lake Michigan and has a nice speed on smooth water. Great handling for beginners and turns nicely. Very durable and in excellent condition. As you can see from the pictures it is kept inside and is really clean. Very few scratches and no dents. I have'nt been able to use it much so it's pretty much like a brand new Kayak! The Nitro, the newest ski in the HO line, is built off of the Monza/System 8 platform, but much easier to ski. You just float and the turns are incredible. This ski is awesome. Call Tommy's Slalom shop they will tell you this is a steal. The bindings alone cost more. The bindings are right foot forward.

This ski, with its slightly increased surface area, provides optimum skiing at speeds up to 34 mph. The 3.75% increase in total ski surface area provides support at the finish of the turn where traditionally shaped skis get "bogged" down.

Now you can ski the course efficiently with less physical effort and overall body fatigue. Make it easy on yourself and pick up a Nitro.

Ski and bindings are like new, if you didn't know you would think they were.

A Steal at only $100, the bindings alone are worth more than that. This is an Excellent ski! With the Animal bindings (medium and both feet forward capable) it is a very versitile ski. Easy to get up on and will last you well into the advanced stages of your skiing ability. You will not be disappointed. The only flaw is that scratch on the top from rubbing on our anchor while in storage. If you have any questions please call me @ 720-841-2336. Older model but still in excellent shape.

Notable Features: The ASX is �� narrower than the Comp/Freeride slaloms and �� wider than a CDX/Phantom of the same length. The extra �� in width creates more support for the skier and less drag as well for a non-tiring ride. The �� decrease in width from the Comp/Freerides helps fashion hard slalom turns without the need to reduce boat speed. The ASX has extra carbon added to the tail section to give it even better acceleration while retaining the sweet spot that helps make it easy and fun to ride. HO team skier Chris Sullivan trains on the ASX, which has a full sheet of carbon on the bottom, and has run well into 41 off at the maximum 36 mph.
