Frame has little scratch/damage on the down tube which happened during transportation. I PEELED paint(that's why you can see carbon, as damage looked like hard boiled egg crushed against something) and looks like only first sheet was damaged(just to let you know carbon fiber products are made from numerous thin sheets of carbon fiber fabric soaked with epoxy resin), so if lets say in this spot you have 12 sheets of carbon fiber now in the place about 3/4" square you have 11. Peeled spot seems strong, is flexing, is not dead soft, this tube diameter is BIG and carbon fiber as long is not cracked/cut is incredible strong so possibilities of any failure are super low. Anyway, previous owner rode this bike as is, i rode this bike as is also so if you think that i try to kill you or lie to you think twice, because if this bike is faulty i will be last person which will ride this bike, but i rode it several times with confidence. Still if you think this is not good, you can send this frame to calfee design and they will repair this damage that you won't even notice for about $200 or you can do it by yourself(check http://www.sheldonbrown.com/rinard/carbonqa.htm), basic carbon fiber kit cost $20 on ebay and this damage is easy to fix even for rookie. Also one of my friend cyclist saw it and said that it doesn't look bad.

Its mostly the stock build with a few changes. I crashed it once on a rock which left a slight scratch on the drive side stanchion, the downtube and forced me to replace the rear der with an X.9 from my trusty 4X bike. I also traded wheelsets with a buddy so the wheels are from an 09 demo 8 (only real difference is rim color, the trade also involved seatpost and saddle so its now has a RaceXLite Bontrager saddle and the stock demo post) I did upgrade the headset as well to a very subtle but awesome Brown (new color last year!) Chris King NoThreadset 1.5 with preloader and brown spacers! The only thing you have to add is pedals and this puppy is ready to go! Great bike for many uses, road, commuting, winter training, racing, light touring, etc. This frame has eyelets for a lightweight rack/fenders, as well as the fork, and is very comfortable over the long haul due to the bend in the seat stays.
