Come check out the beautiful music and join in on a Contra-dance. The music is pretty and
the dances are pretty easy. They say if you can walk you can Contra - it's true.

'Contra' because you and a partner start facing each other in long lines. You pair off with
another couple, the caller walks you through the easy steps, the music starts and the caller
reminds you of the steps. You and your partner progress to new couples and you repeat.

It is crazy fun if you have never tried it. So come on out and join in the merriment. :)

Men's is in the Tech Center (Arapahoe and I-25) , Coed is at Dick's (Quebec and I-25)

Ideally you would be awesome and have a great attitude and be totally consistent.

But in the real world I need someone who tries hard, has decent reflexes, and basic soccer knowledge, tells me when they can't make it and has a good attitude.

I have been running teams for almost 10 years now so I make sure to put a quality team in front of you and work hard to keep everything organized.

I had one girl bail on me at the last minute for coed BB 4s starting this week in Wheatridge at rMac/Juggernaut. Games are on Wednesdays for 10 weeks, followed by a tournament. Player cost is $90.

It would probably be a good fit if you had at least high school if not college experience and can hit comfortably on a coed net. We expect to be competitive, but we also are out to have a good time, so bring your sense of humor. :-)

I am seeking gypsy dancers and improvisational acoustic musicians for a spontaneous, laid-back, unplugged, jamming troupe to perform around campfires, other outdoor sites and art venues. The intent is not for fame and money but for friends, fun and good times. I can orchestrate with ethnic drums using rhythms from the Balkan, Turkey, Mid-eastern, North African, and Flamenco traditions. Instruments that would be especially appreciated could include violin, oud, flute, clarinet, zills, guitar, kanoon, voice and whatever. Great skills are not required only the intention to play and have a good time with stories, costumes, music and dance.

Spring Softball Team - Men (Aurora)

We are looking for a few additional players to round out our mens softball team for the upcoming spring. Registration for the Aurora league is right around the corner and we are hoping to get everything squared away within a few weeks. We play out at Olympic Park in Aurora (near Iliff & Chambers) probably on either Tuesday or Wednesday nights beginning in late March for an 8 game season.

We are not the crazy, super-competitive baseball pants wearing type team, but we are also not "recreational" players - we're all pretty good but none of us played college or pro ball. We will be in the league above recreational but below the most difficult division. Basically, we want to compete and win and also have some fun in the process. We typically have a few beers pre and/or post-game and are made up of 20 and 30somethings.

Ideally, we are looking for a few positions: middle infielders and possibly a few outfielders with speed. We have some big hitters already on the team so in a perfect world we'd find some speedy guys who can get on base.
