A New Volleyball League has been created for ages 8-17, desperately in need of 8-9 year olds to fill teams.
Any youth player (or coach) interested is encouraged to sign up immediately as the Inaugural Session is now underway.

I created this league based on years of feedback from you all that youth volleyball in Colorado deeply needs an option BETWEEN "club" volleyball and "rec center" volleyball. Well, I always answer your requests, and this league already has phenomenal response from ages 8 to 17 years! You can read more about it on the "InvernessSports(dot)com" website (youth tab).

We could use a couple more coaches if any of you are interested in coaching for a very small number of hours each week , all teams are alloted a one hour weekly practice with Double Header games on Saturday's with the first games beginning November 21, 2009 (may play an occasional Sunday), price will range per player of $125-150 depending on team and number of players.

Our biggest problem will be for you to convince your boss that the whole company should shut down and come out and play volleyball, because it is not going to be over 70 degrees that many times(if ever) in the next 6 months. (seriously, if U can convince the boss to bring everyone out, I can bring extra nets just for your company. I have about 10 nets now. Oh, wait a sec' , I just got another one off of ebay delivered today!)

I am interested in a training partner or partners. Run between 50-70 miles per week. Long run, tempo or fartlek sessions, and track workouts when possible. I used to live and train in Madison, Wisconsin and moved here several months ago. I typically train for 5k up to half's. Currently I do a lot of runs on Platte Path, City Park Area, Northwest Denver, Crown Hill Park, Hayden Green Mountain Park, Cherry Creek Res, Boulder on weekends etc. However running alone sucks and I am realizing that i took my training group for granted back in Wisco. I work downtown and live in northwest (38th and Tennyson). I'm really looking for some folks to run with a few times per week or more if possible. Could do either afternoons or mornings. I am 31, male and typically do my runs around 7 minute pace. Used to run collegiate cross and track in the 90's. No preference for men or women training partners. Hit me up and let's talk.
