I'm new to the area and have some friends up here, but none of them climb. I'm looking for a climbing partner that's willing to "show me the ropes" and teach me how to climb trad.

About me: Been climbing for 5 years. I managed an indoor gym for 2 years and have climbed up to 5.12 on TR. Very safe/experienced belayer and climber. Some experience climbing sport, knowledge of trad equipment and functionality, but no experience placing pro as I climb. I strained some ligaments in my elbow early this year and haven't climbed in about 6 months....been itching to get back out. Elbow is all better now (I hope) and I'd like to spend some time climbing on the weekends. Ideally, I'm looking for someone with a rack that's willing to teach me how to lead while I build a rack of my own...but I'm up for any climbing, really.

I want to make a homemade dolly for a short film I'll be shooting in a week. I suck at this stuff and I was wondering if anyone has one, or would like to help me make one. We can both use it whenever we need it. Let me know if your interested. I found some stuff online explaining how to build one.

Total cost of the dolly was about �80. Total Dolly size = 2ft wide x 3ft long. Type of pipe used for track = 32mm waste pipe. Angle alluminium width = 2in x 2in at 3mm thick. NOTE: Angle aluminium is a lot easier to work with than angle iron - which is very heavy and hard to drill & cut. It also goes rusty and is generally not much fun to handle. ALSO: Try to get the wheels positioned closer together so they sit on the upper/top portion of the track rather than middle/sides of the track. (Or in other words - go for a small/narrow "L" shape area for the track to sit in) I found wider-spaced wheels were trying to bend the pipe and make the dolly harder & more jerky to push with weight on it.

To practice you must be 18 years old or older, have your own gear, play at your own risk, and you are required to sign a waiver before entering the building. You must follow all rules of practice!!! This is a private location, scenerio games, and indoor elements!

Practice paintballing with Team Illuminati on Friday night! Full gear practice! Located at a Slaughter House near 54th and York St. in the Denver/Thornton area. Please email me for exact address and directions.

Team Illuminati will be arriving around 4pm. The practice is over by 4am. You can come and go as you please and bring friends! Please email me for additional information! If interested this could be a weekly practice with the team.

Things you will need:

1. Crono at no more than 250 MAX so you must have the gear to turn your gun down.

Hi all-

Due to injuries and rotation schedules, our 4s grass team has fallen apart and I'm tired of desperately trying to find subs each week, so if you have a 4s team and you'd like to play in the Tues night VOTR Wash Park vball league, our team spot is up for grabs.

We play Div 2, which I would equate to a BB+ level. We are two weeks into a 9 week league, so there are 7 weeks of play left plus a tournament. Total cost for the league is $280 minus the $62 for the first two weeks that are already played, so $218 total. Leagues runs through Sept 8 with an optional tourney on Sept 14th. They'll even have shirts for you :)

If you're not familiar with VOTR or the Wash Park league, it's a lot of fun and a sometimes difficult league to get in to. I'm very sad to let our spot go, but I can't keep scrambling every week.

Here are the league vitals:

-Your division is at Wash Park, and will be played in the area around the gazebo in the middle of the park, basically where Kentucky and Franklin St�s meet.
-Summer Session goes from July 8th through September 2nd
-Tournament/BBQ: All league teams qualify. Sunday September 14th, Cook Park, 8am Start.
-Schedule: 6pm start each and every week, and basically play until dark. Each week try to show up by 5:45pm to locate and set up your net.
-Rules and league standings are available on the website www.votr.com, if you are a new team or need a refresher please read the rules.

I'm a Co-Captian of a competitive Co-Ed soccer team. We are looking for about 5-8 females that want to play semi-competitive soccer. The team plays in the Front Range Co-Ed Soccer League, All games are played on the fields at the Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City. These are the best fields I have see in the Denver area.

We play on Sunday, game times vary between 9am - 4pm each Sunday for 8 weeks We are looking for people that can make a commitment to play.

We are a fun team and usually go for a drink or bite to eat after several of our games. Many of us have been playing together for several seasons. No one takes themselves to seriously. It's all about having semi-competitive fun.

If you have played on other teams, played in college or just pick up in the park and have skills....Then we are looking for you.

Our team has been together for 9 seasons, very solid. We play on Monday nights at Westminster Sports Center between 6:30pm and 9:30pm. Indoor 6v6. We also do tournaments.

I'm very interested in putting together a shop with the necessary blacksmithing tools and provisions. However, I don't live at a location that will allow me to do that. I would like to split 2-4 ways the cost of a shop rental/purchase. We can set the shop up so that it can accomodate as many people as necessary but would most likely be setting it up for two people and scheduling any additional use.

I've done some initial start up cost and a little shopping for a location. I would like to talk about what you would like out of the situation and from there, we could select the appropriate equipment and location.

I'm just beginning to study the art but I'm intrigued and would like someone who is as interested as I am to study and practice with. If this is you let me know. I'm interested in hearing from you even if you don't have capital immediately. I have some ideas on fundraising/grants that would be alot easier to achieve if I had someone other than just myself interested.

There are two clinics coming up this Saturday, July 19th. The first is a hitting clinic; the second covers fundamentals... pretty much everything else you need to know to excel (See below).

The clinics will be held at Sonny Lawson Field in Denver...just east of downtown Denver, at the corner of California and Park Avenue West.

The hitting clinic starts at 12:00 noon and lasts approximately two hours. The fundamentals clinic will last approximately one hour. The hitting clinic is limited to the first 15 players to RSVP; there is no limit for the fundamentals clinic. RSVP by calling the number below or email.

Cost is $10 per person for one clinic, or $15 for both.

Two guys in their 40s looking to put together a group of folks aged teens to 50s (really, anyone reasonably physically able) for some friendly games of Ultimate, most likely a weekly early evening thing. We envision a casual good time with people interested in some fun physical activity, likely followed by some hang-out time, possibly at a local brewpub. (That said, non-drinkers are still encouraged to reply -- the idea is hardly set in stone. :-)

All skill levels, including none at all, are welcome. Time, location and day/evening of the week to be determined by consensus and/or circumstances. Please reply if interested, and pass this along to anyone who might also be interested.

I'm a 23 yr. old female who is currently training to run my 2nd half marathon. I have 15 weeks left to train and would love to find someone to run with. I have been running around Wash Park and in the Cheeseman Park area. I can run anytime after 4pm M-F and Saturday mornings. I'm trying to work on my distance running right now. Speed isn't a huge issue yet as I still have 15 weeks to go. I'd like to find someone who can challenge me and push me to my limits! It's also always fun to grab a beer with someone after a long run.

Hey all! I run in Wash Park 3-4 times/week and would love some running partners. I would consider myself an intermediate runner--I don't jog slowly, but I don't sprint. I am self employed, so my schedule is pretty flexible...though I am a slower runner in the early morning. I'm a 35 year old male. Let me know if you want to join me.

I also like to ride my bike on the trails around town (Cherry Creek, Platt, etc...) I have a Rock Hopper hard tail mountain bike. I'm not going to break any speed records, but I am out there for a workout. Again, would love some riders to join me. Let me know.
